Watch Marvel Short Film ‘The Consultant,’ Linking ‘The Incredible Hulk’ To ‘The Avengers’

At Comic Con Marvel debuted footage of the studio’s first short film, The Consultant, in which Clark Gregg as SHIELD Agent Coulson and Maximiliano Hernández as Agent Sitwell meet to talk about the fact that bigwigs want Emil Blonsky, aka The Abomination, to be a part of the Avengers.
Now the entire short is online, and you can watch it below. asd As quickie shorts go, this is a relatively good way to use some existing footage and some very affordable new stuff to bridge other Marvel features. In this case, The Consultant bridges The Incredible Hulk, The Avengers and Iron Man 2. The short also appears on the upcoming Thor DVD. We’ll see another one in the near future called A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor’s Hammer, in which Coulson will help illuminate some of the stuff that takes place between Iron Man 2 and Thor.
