VOTD: ‘Chronicle’ Viral Marketing Asks You To Believe That Men Can Fly

I’m not sure how well this really promoted Chronicle at the time, but it’s a pretty neat-looking video and is probably doing a good job now.
One of the guys at Thinkmodo said,
Chronicle opens in theaters everywhere Friday, February 3rd.
Since the three main characters of the movie have the ability to fly, we came up with the idea of staging a few “flying people” sightings around NYC. We achieved that illusion by having 3 custom-made aircraft (which were shaped like human beings) fly above designated areas in NYC and NJ.
