George Romero Remaking Dario Argento’s Deep Red In 3D By Russ Fischer/May 17, 2010 9:47 am EST George Romero and Dario Argento go way back. Argento helped Romero finance Dawn of the Dead in exchange for international distribution rights. Argento cut his own version of the film for various European markets, changing it quite a bit in the process, which led to Romero saying that Argento never really understood the film....
