Screenwriter William Monahan Reveals Story Idea For ‘The Departed’ Sequel By Angie Han/Oct. 17, 2011 3:00 pm EST Reports of a possible sequel to Martin Scorsese’s The Departed have been floating around pretty much since its release, but we haven’t heard any solid news about a follow-up in quite some time.
