Ben Whishaw In Line For Steven Spielberg’s ‘Robopocalypse’

Variety broke the news of Whishaw’s likely casting, saying that “he has been at the top of DreamWorks’ list since the casting process began.”
Spielberg is currently finishing Lincoln while simultaneously doing pre-production on this aimed at an early 2013 start date. The film was originally scheduled to hit later in the year but was eventually given a more realistic release date of April 25, 2014.
