After the break, Kevin Feige comments on the feasibility of a possible future Avenger, Ant-Man, and screengrab images give you a full look at Loki’s alien army.
Just in case you didn’t see the new Avengers TV spots last week that give a great look at the members of Loki’s army, here are a couple GIFs that show them off in all their glory. But what are they? Good question. Speculation is running rampant, and I do still like the idea that they’re of the same race that gave us Thor supporting character Beta Ray Bill. Wouldn’t it be rad to see Bill show up in the Thor sequel? I think it might be. [via SHH]
Finally, Bleeding Cool had a chat with marvel studios president Kevin Feige, and the exec dropped a tidbit about Ant-Man:
That’s not much, but ‘closer than it’s ever been’ is a lot better than it might be, so I’ll take it. Edgar Wright is writing Ant-Man with Joe Cornish (Attack the Block) and we can hope that he gets a chance to make it before taking on The Night Stalker TV to film adaptation for Disney. And since Feige has already talked about wanting to make The Avengers 2, we know they’ll need more heroes soon.
It’s somewhere. I’ll just say it’s closer than it’s ever been in its long maybe eight year history, and I usually e-mail Edgar every two or three days and over those eight years its got further away and closer… we are now closer than we’ve ever been. So I hope it will come together shortly.
